The Ayurvedic difference

Oils, tools and touch, the way they were meant to be used

Ayurveda has treated the scalp as the seat of calm for thousands of years. We borrow three things from it. Warm botanical oil blends, chosen for your scalp rather than poured from one bottle, that soften buildup and nourish the follicle. Traditional tools, gua sha among them, that move lymph and release the tension that gathers along the hairline, temples and base of the skull. And massage techniques that follow the scalp's pressure points in a slow, rhythmic sequence, so the treatment is as good for your nervous system as it is for your hair.

Warm oil blends

Botanical oils warmed and blended for your scalp type, worked in slowly so they soften buildup and condition the skin under your hair.

Traditional tools

Gua sha and scalp tools that stimulate circulation, move lymph and ease the tight band that stress leaves across the head.

Massage techniques

Scalp, neck and shoulder work that follows Ayurvedic pressure points. Guests routinely fall asleep. That is the point.

The ritual, step by step

What happens in the chair

1

The scalp analysis

A close look at your scalp with our AI analysis: oil, buildup, dryness, follicle density and irritation. Your scalp is skin, and we treat it with the same care as your face.

2

The cleanse

A deep, unhurried cleanse and gentle exfoliation to lift product, sweat and environmental buildup from the follicles so everything that follows can actually reach the scalp.

3

Warm oils and Ayurvedic massage

Warm botanical oil blends chosen for your scalp, worked in with Ayurvedic scalp, neck and shoulder massage techniques. This is the part people come back for: slow, rhythmic and deeply calming.

4

Tools and gua sha

Gua sha and traditional scalp tools move lymph, release tension along the hairline and temples and boost circulation to the follicles.

5

Red light

A session under red light while the oils settle, to support the scalp and leave hair looking glossier.

6

The finish

A scalp report, home care advice and, if it is right for you, a plan for a series.

After your analysis

Tell us what your hair is doing. We build the plan.

Every HeadSpa starts with the ritual. Where it goes next depends on what your scalp analysis shows and what you want to change, not on a menu. These are the pieces we may recommend, in the order and at the pace that fits your budget.

The Scalp Reset

Our signature Japanese HeadSpa: AI scalp analysis, deep cleanse, warm botanical oils, Ayurvedic massage, gua sha and red light. The full ritual.

Keravive Scalp Rejuvenation

Cleanses and stimulates the scalp with growth factors. For thinning hair and for buildup sitting around the follicle.

Topical Exo-Infusion

An add-on to either treatment: exosomes applied to the scalp straight after, when absorption is at its highest.

TrichoTest hair loss testing

Genetic testing that shows which hair loss treatments are most likely to work for you, reviewed with our clinical team.

A series

Scalp health builds session by session. Book three or more and the studio takes ten percent off the series.

What is a Japanese HeadSpa?+

A scalp-focused treatment rooted in Japanese head spa tradition: cleansing, massage, warm oils and tools applied to the scalp, neck and shoulders. At Delray Skin we combine it with Ayurvedic massage techniques, gua sha and red light, and we begin every session with an AI scalp analysis.

How long does it take?+

Plan on about an hour for The Scalp Reset. Add-ons such as the Topical Exo-Infusion add a few minutes.

Will my hair be wet or oily afterward?+

We rinse and dry your hair at the end of the treatment. Most guests leave with hair that feels lighter and looks glossier than when they came in. Come with clean or day-old hair, no styling needed.

How often should I have one?+

For relaxation, whenever you like. For scalp concerns such as buildup, shedding or dryness, a series of three, two to four weeks apart, is where we see the difference. Members can use credits toward each visit.

Is it right for thinning hair?+

Yes, and it pairs well with Keravive and TrichoTest. If hair loss is your main concern, start with a complimentary Skin Plan so we can map the right sequence before you spend anything.
